Hopefully they slow games down a little so you won't get crushed so easily.. I enjoy this game as supreme champion of the original Skyworld. It takes the fastest paced most action packed part of that game and adds a little flavor with the modifiers! Very fun and competitive!. Do get the original Skyworld game. I loved that game! From art style to varied gameplay and the war room design. This Kingdowm Brawl is a stripped down version without the turn based gameplay that I loved as a Civilization fan. They focused on the deck building part and made it the typical chore. I dislike this grind\/pay to win game design just to inflate player engagement. No strategy to manage resources, just grinding and frustrating waste of time until maybe one day you unlocked it all so you can make a fair strategy. Also it was so nice when resources weren't filled with zeros after them coins just to make small payoffs seem rewarding.Even if they iterated on Skyworld to make it more grindy, I say it turned out a game a lot shallower than the original. I can appreciate fast loading and upfront menus. But the tabletop got boring alternating only between menu and battlefield. To top it all, this one seems to have always online design. After 2 games against AI, I couldn't press any buttons probably due to connection issues as Brawl was stuck with Cancel and wouldn't be pressed anyway. And I remind you that all I wanted was to play alone against AI.With VR struggling to maintain players active, I have to wonder how long the server will be sustainable. So yeah, go ahead and get Skyworld 1. It will be one of your best VR experiences. But don't bother with Skywrold Kingdom Brawl unless you are a social player and don't mind getting your buttons pushed. I really dislike when the game tries to play me.. First Impressions. Will update after 2 hrs play. Can recommend for the following reasons:1. Price is low.2. Is exactly what I expected it to be based on store page and gameplay video. That being said, the maps are too small, the gameplay does not appear to be very deep (hopefully they will be adding more cards), and the chunky art style is not appealing to me (too childish). If you like VR strategy games, add it to your collection, but there are better ones to buy first.. Played with WMR and worked great even if it says the controllers wont work when you first start it lol. Having a blast. If you like Clash Royal then this is for you!. I have played a handful of VR games. Check my library if u must. I feel that this game sets a standard for games to follow. Can you imagine Pokemon or Magic the Gathering in VR? Your favorite beasts turned to life? This is where it starts in my mind, and I hope this game continues to grow. The interactions I have had with with other players; be it fist bumping, high fiving, pointing, hugging, or franticly gesturing. Has been insanely rewarding!A truly addictive game. Lame that no one else plays!!!. Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl is a very intense, light-hearted, and accessible RTS battle game that is great fun online, with friends, or with AI. The AI quite impressively offers a wide variety of strategies that challenge you and force you to adapt quickly. The systems are well thought out and everything flows just about seamlessly. Collecting gold through battles to pick up some creatively exciting units, like the Wyvern and Battle Tank, adds a fulfilling rpg element and throws a whole new dynamic into battles. Battles are quick and a blast, so you\u2019ll soon find that you have enough gold saved up to try out some interesting new units. On top of all that, it is an exceptional value at this price-point for the quality of product, depth of strategic action, and sheer intensity you get in VR. Turn the graphics settings all the way up to fully enjoy the cartoonish violence!. I am enjoying this game immensely, it's a 3 lane push type game with an intuitive interface and controls.. Easy to pick up and enjoyable when I don't feel like playing any other VR game. It feels like the mobile game Clash Royale but with a nice use of VR added to it. You can walk around your board and spin it to focus on different points. For 10 bucks I say this is very worth the buy.. Skyworld Kingdom Brawl is effectively Skyworld 'light' and that's not a bad thing.Reviewhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/6FwQ7Utf1b8Streamhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/N6_IM9HDIfIVertigo games has separated the slow going over world side of Skyworld with the action packed card battle side of Skyworld and the result is a hell of a lot a fun.Anyone who loads into Skyworld Kingdom Brawl that has played the original Skyworld will instantly be familiar with the UI and the feel for how everything works. Most things are intuitive with a few exceptions. Placing the upgrade piece into the slot for example. Once you get this little hiccup worked out there's not much else to trip you up.The art and the audio are both very high quality.Population doesn't seem to be too much of an issue. It took us a few minutes to get the ball rolling but then got two back to back games on a Monday night between 9 and 10 pm EST. That's not too bad for 2 weeks post launch. The leaderboards also showed a reasonable weekly activity level. The main negative take away here is really just for anyone who enjoyed the slower overworld side of Skyworld. The long game strategy player wont be able to scratch that itch here.Outside of that, this is a fast, fun experience brought to you by a veteran VR studio and at a great price. Definitely recommend picking this one up.
